LAURA: I needed a second opinion on a procedure that was being done. My other dentist wanted to go a little bit extreme so I thought that I should get a second opinion.

I went to a very good friend’s wedding. She, besides being mother of the bride, she looked just absolutely beautifully smiling and I noticed that she got her teeth done. And she just looked so beautiful, I asked for the doctor’s name and came for a consultation with Dr. K.

It’s the front teeth that I had worked on, which I feel to be the hardest teeth. Even the injection Dr. K gave me was just very, he told me, you know, talked about it, made me feel very relaxed. Said he gives an injection that takes a little bit longer. It was painless. Just very comforting. Just told me exactly everything he was going to do ’cause I am so nervous.

Being so nervous, the littlest noise or anything like that, you’re like, “What are you doing?” but I didn’t have to do any of that. He really was very calm and kind, and just spoke exactly what he was doing all through the whole procedure.

So I think as it went on, my hands started to loosen up a little bit, and I just felt more relaxed.
